    CELLO LUTE OBOE VIOLIN

    WanderingQuatuor

An evolving quartet simulator. Strings, lute and oboe, physically modeled.

    The project

An endless piece, never the same

WanderingQuatuor composes a piece, live on your device, that never repeats, drawing on different musical styles. This is not AI music: every note comes from music rules and algorithms, in real time.

The ensemble blends Cello, Lute, Oboe and Violin, all simulated through physical modeling synthesis. It offers several musical styles, so you can choose the mood or let it evolve. No loops, no samples.

A living, procedural celestial scene moves with the music: each jump takes you to a new, unique solar system, as day turns to night.

    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: 13 July 2026

WanderingQuatuor ("the app") is developed and published by Nextale Audio ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the app across its platforms (desktop for Windows and macOS, iOS, and Android), and the choices you have. Contact: nextalefieldrecording@gmail.com.

    Summary

    • We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or contacts.
    • The app runs on your device and collects no personal data itself, on any platform.
    • The free Android version shows advertising through Google AdMob, and connects to the internet for it.
    • The paid desktop versions (Windows, macOS) and the paid iOS version show no advertising.
    • You can remove ads on Android with a one time in app purchase.
    • We do not sell your personal data.

    By platform

Android (Google Play), free version. Supported by advertising. To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob may process advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), IP address and the approximate location derived from it, device information, and ad interaction and app usage data. This may include personalized advertising where you have consented. If you buy the ad removal upgrade, the transaction is handled by Google Play Billing and we receive only the purchase status.

Desktop (Windows and macOS), paid version. The desktop plugin and standalone application show no advertising and include no analytics. They connect to the internet only when you activate your license, to verify your purchase with Gumroad; your license key is sent to Gumroad for that verification and nothing else. The purchase itself is handled by Gumroad under its own privacy policy.

iOS (Apple App Store), paid version. A paid app with no advertising. It makes no network connections and collects no data. The purchase is handled by Apple under its own privacy policy.

Content on your device. Any audio, recordings, or settings you create stay on your device. We do not collect or transmit them, on any platform.

    Third party services

Advertising and payments on Android are provided by Google (AdMob and Google Play), whose handling of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Desktop purchases and license verification are handled by Gumroad, and iOS purchases by Apple, each under their own policies.

    Legal bases (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: non personalized advertising and core functionality rely on our legitimate interest in providing the app; personalized advertising on Android relies on your consent, collected through the consent form shown in the app, which you can change or withdraw at any time.

    Your choices

    • On Android, where required, the app shows a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) so you can choose between personalized and non personalized ads.
    • You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings, under Settings, Google, Ads.
    • You can remove advertising entirely with the in app purchase on Android, or by using the paid desktop or iOS versions.

    Data sharing and retention

We do not sell personal data. We do not store personal data on our own servers. Data processed by Google (Android ads and payments), Gumroad (desktop sales and license checks), or Apple (iOS purchases) is retained under their respective policies.

    Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

    Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to it. To exercise these rights, contact nextalefieldrecording@gmail.com. If you are in the EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL, cnil.fr).

    Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The date above will reflect any changes.
